We are excited to announce the launch of Mini Jets cricket!
Most of you will know that we have been running the entry level cricket training for Year 2 children on Friday nights for many years - The Kwiks. Through the Kwiks we have built a strong junior cricket club with top cricketers going on to win trophies, represent the county and most importantly, have a lot of fun. We owe a massive debt of gratitude to Damien, Chris and all the coaches who have helped the Kwiks - thank you all!
We want to grow our junior cricket, give more children the chance to take the benefits that the game has to offer and introduce the North East Cheshire Cricket Club identity to our juniors. So, we are making some changes to the Kwiks. They will now be know as the Mini Jets, they will be sponsored by a local business (that announcement will come later) and we are opening up Friday night training to Year 1 children!
We want to spread the word about Mini Jets, so if you know friends or family with Year 1 or 2 children, please pass this article on to them. If you have younger children in Year 1 or 2 and want them to join the Mini Jets, please read on find out how to register your interest.
