Since the agreement to form a new club, one of the priorities of North East Cheshire CC has been to achieve the ECB’s ClubMark accreditation in its first year.
ECB ClubMark shows that a club is sustainable, well run and provides the right environment for its members. ClubMark accreditation also means a club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages, as well as assuring parents and carers that they are choosing the right option for their young people.
Both Disley CC and Poynton CC held the accreditation previously, but the new club needed a new application and therefore, throughout the season, the club has been gathering the required evidence needed to show that we meet certain criteria and thus are worthy of being awarded ClubMark status.
On 17 October 2019, North East Cheshire CC was informed that it had achieved the required standards to be awarded ClubMark status.
The club extends a huge thank you to all those involved in helping us get there.
