Four league matches in quick succession for each team saw our ladies’ bowling and batting skills develop with each game – the prosecco probably helped too. Cheryl finally got her elusive six and Jacqui surprised herself with how good her bowling was.
The four Poynton Junior CC girls all playing brilliantly well despite facing some tough opposition at times.
The NECCC Vulcans progressed to the semi-finals with a match against Langley. Once again, their England hockey player made a difference to the scores and Langley came out on top – no sheep in adjacent fields this time.
