As we emerge from lockdown and head towards the 2021 season, the Juniors are getting a kit makeover in line with their transition to the North East Cheshire Cricket Club brand.
Our younger Jets now have the opportunity to play matches and train in a new range of kit from our club suppliers, Icon Sports. Icon pride themselves in supplying a range of bespoke teamwear for clubs around the world and have been used by the seniors since formation in 2019.
The new junior range of whites includes both long and short sleeved playing shirts, a long sleeved sweater and hybrid vest - with an embroidered club badge - along with plain cricket trousers.
Whilst we request all players to wear ‘whites’ for matches, we don’t expect them to have the specific club kit. Plain ‘whites’ are readily available at most good sports stockists.
At the same time, the junior training kit also has a new look. We have introduced a bottle green t-shirt and a black hoodie that can be teamed with black track pants, leggings or shorts.
Whilst we have a new training kit, this is optional for training sessions; our only request is to wear something comfortable and appropriate for sport and the weather conditions… and no football tops.
A central order has been placed by the club which will be available to purchase directly from the club on a first come, first served basis. However, if your child is a member of the U9s age group for the coming season then these will be supplied free of charge as part of membership.
The kit is available to buy online via the junior section of the ICON online shop, along with a range of other NECCC branded clothing items.
The ICON size guide can be found here
Most junior kit is on a 10-14 day lead time so get your orders in quick to be ready for league fixtures which are due to start from Sunday 2 May.
Note: If you order any of the items that are on a 4-6 week lead time (eg the NECCC junior hybrid vest or many items from the adult range) in the same order, delivery will be all together so we therefore advise two separate orders.
